The College of Agriculture at Cal Poly has outstanding faculty members who are known for their ability to bring the latest knowledge, technology and applied research findings to their students through our "Learn by Doing" teaching philosophy. The ability to link theory to practice and applied research to problem-solving, make our faculty valuable resources to agriculture and natural resource industries and businesses. 

	In any given year, we produce 50% of all agricultural baccalaureate degrees in California and 50% of all new K-12 teachers of agriculture in California.

The College of Agriculture encourages our faculty members to have direct interaction with appropriate industries and agencies for two-way communication. The College's various facilities, information and human resources can be more than useful to our friends, supporters and industry personnel.
