These College of Agriculture scholarships make several very strong statements. Not only are they providing the resources for students to further their education, they are sending a second powerful message. The agricultural industry, our alumni, and our good friends who provide the resources that generate these scholarships are clearly stating that pursuing a higher education in agriculture at Cal Poly is the right thing to do.
The industry needs well-trained, highly motivated men and women, and these scholarships underscore that need.
The Dean's Office, and individual departments within the College, have the applications for the specific scholarships listed below. This is only a partial listing of agriculturally related scholarships. A complete listing of all scholarships is available from the
Financial Aid
Office. (If the scholarship listed has an * use the University application obtained through Financial
Aid.)

We are pleased to have shared with you this partial list of scholarships available each year to students through the College of Agriculture. The yearly total dollar amount exceeds $370,000. Additionally, agriculture students are eligible for many of the university scholarships available through the Financial Aid Office. Agriculture students received more than $500,000 from both sources of support last year.
Students are strongly encouraged to consult the department sponsoring the scholarship or the Financial Aid Office for specific information and advice.
The application deadline for most University scholarships for the academic year is March 2. A Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form is usually required as part of the application process for a university scholarship and is filed with the Federal Student Aid Programs processor. The FAFSA can be obtained from high schools and financial aid offices.
We want to assist each student in achieving his/her educational objectives. A strong scholarship program contributes to that end.
